The Kondo Syokai Boatyard is a division of Kondo Syokai Leisure India, a Company registered in India and whose directors and managers are Indian, Japanese and English nationals. The boatyard is committed to building fine boats of verifiable quality using traditional shipbuilding methods.
The yard is very well equipped and has it's own mold loft and 4 covered fabrication bays. The fabrication bays are supplied with: -
Most importantly however the yard has a skilled workforce under the supervision of highly experienced master craftsmen, and where required foriegn technical staff are employed to advise and assist - for example the first Gazelles were built under supervision of British Shipwrights.
The yard is currently building four 42' steel yachts for the Malabar Yacht Club. These are to the Gazelle design by Thomas E Colvin of the USA.
