Boatyard Visit

Before getting into the detail of contracts you need to be satisfied that we can provide you with the boat you want. In reaching that conclusion you may consider it necessary to come to Cochin and visit the Kondo Syokai boatyard. If so then we can really help you out here with our Prospective Buyers Visit Package.

However visiting the Kondo Syokai boatyard (pic1, pic2) is not like visiting a boatyard in the UK. The Kondo Syokai boatyard is situated in what is probably one of the most beautiful locations in Fort Cochin. It is a secure 10 acre area (known as Michaels Land) planted with over 800 coconut and banana trees and surrounded on 3 sides by the backwaters. It is a superb location for a most relaxing holiday and is about 15 minutes drive from Fort Cochin (see this link for further information about our location.) You will normally be accommodated in Shipwrights Cottage (pic1, pic2) but alternative Company accommodation off Michaels Land is available

Flight Information

You can get a very pleasant flight from Heathrow into Cochin International Airport - via Kuwait (Kuwait Air - cheapest) or Dubai (Emirates - best for duty free shopping!) or Qatar (Qatar Airways) and possibly others.

When to Visit

The time to visit is from September through May with November to February being the best (June to August is the monsoon rain season)
